BURN MUSIC CDs & DVDs |
 |
| Once downloaded, your songs are ready to be burned (recorded) to a CD or DVD. This process is also known as “ripping”. Get ready with a blank writeable Compact Disk in your CD-R (or DVD-R) drive and follow these instructions. |
AUDIO CD BURNING
USING WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER
- Locate the actual folder where your MP3 songs are located. As you download them, they automatically go into this folder, so you can easily burn them. The folder where your songs have gone is found by opening up your download program and if it is LimeWire or 360share - go to the Library tab and see under the column Path what path is displayed. It should read something like this: C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Shared.... the full path is shown when you expand that column completely. This path shows where your songs folder is located on your computer.
-
To get to that folder, press the large green START button in the lower left corner of your computer screen - then go to My Computer and then C:\ drive, etc... following that same path, until you reach your music folder. Then, just highlight ALL the songs you wish to burn and select Copy To Audio CD from the left menu bar. This will open up your Windows Media Player.
- Select Burn from
the menu along the top.
- Click the Start Burn
button to begin the burning process.
- Your files will begin to automatically convert and get burned onto the Blank CD that you have in your CD burner.
-
When the burning process is complete, your CD should automatically pop–out. Enjoy!
