If you are using Windows XP or Vista and you are unable to start program #1 (mp3rocket) this means that you need to un-install Java version 6 from your computer. Once you uninstall this update, you can downlaoding mp3rocket and everything should work seamlessly.
1. GETTING STARTED – How to Download the program We know it can be a little overwhelming the fist time around. To begin downloading, simply click on “Main” menu choice at the top. Then, it is recommended that you Download JAVA First. The program will present you with a pop–up window shortly afterward, so you can accept the upgrade this program is going to make on your system. Once the program is installed, it is recommended that you restart your computer and proceed to download our programs #1, #2 or #3. Read the instructions and you will see that it is really simple to get going.
The best programs are always featured in the #1 spot, but the alternative ones are also excellent. “Save” the program to your desktop. Once the program is downloaded, install it and run it, wait for it to get connected and you will be searching and downloading in no time! Download your collection (of songs or movies) first, after which you can move on to burning them on CDs. If you have specific questions about the download process, the answers in this section will be extremely helpful in your journey.

2. IS THIS SERVICE ONLY FOR MP3s? Absolutely not! MP3 files are the universal music files of the internet. These are the files you actually need when you are downloading music. They are the files everyone else in the world downloads when they need music. Your MP3 files are easily played by the default player of your computer, such as WindowsMediaPlayer, RealPlayer, MusicMatch, Winamp by simply double-clicking on the file. You can also upload your MP3 files into your physical MP3 iPod or iMini Mp3 players. The MP3 songs you will download, can easily be burned onto a CD, using Windows Media player (check the BURN section for exact instructions) and in the burning process, the MP3 files are automatically formatted (to .wav files), so your burned CD will play in your Stereo or in your Car, as well as on your computer. Don't forget that besides music, the networks are equipped to download movies, videos, soundtracks, radio shows, tv shows, pictures, programs and every other file imaginable!

3. I AM UNABLE TO CONNECT or DOWNLOAD - LIGHT FLASHES YELLOW !
If you are unable to get connected, and the yellow light is blinking, never turning to green, this means that your firewall and your anti-virus and auto-protect software is still blocking your connection. Be absolutely sure to turn off and disable your firewall and your anti-virus and auto-protect programs. To disable them, run your mouse over the Lower Right corner of your computer screen where your mini program icons are located. As you mouse-over them, their names will be displayed for you and you can right-click and select CLOSE, DISABLE or SHUT DOWN. This applies to Norton Anti-virus, Norton Anti-protect, popup-blockers, McAfee Anti-virus and your Microsoft Personal Firewall. Those programs should be re-enabled after you are done downloading your songs. Be sure to try and disable all of those blockers, before contacting customer service for help. If you are still unable to get going, simply move on to the next program. Program #3 offers the quickest way to establish a connection.

4. MY DOWNLOADS STOP OR TURN RED When you start to download a particular song, always make sure that you have selected it from the list of AVAILABLE songs. This is indicated by a green color when using program #1. Sometimes, even songs that are available (green) may turn red when downloading has been initiated, and the reason for this is because there are others trying to download the same song and your request is put in "line" also known as "queue". This is why you should always begin downloading MULTIPLE copies of the SAME song by MANY different available sources. This will ensure that at least of the songs will download quickly and properly. You should delete the slow, pending or idle downloads in the process, keeping only the fast, good ones.
If you are still unable to get going, you need to move on to the next program before contacting the help staff. Program #3 is another excellent choice.

5. BROWSER IMPROVEMENT Sometimes, the browsers that computers come equipped with, are set at a very restrictive level. Here are some steps you can take to open up those restrictions if you like and allow yourselves more freedom: Open Internet Explorer and select the “Tools” and then “Internet Options”.
The second top tab is called “Security” – click on it. Then, make sure that “Internet” is highlighted in the rectangular area, after which, press “custom level” at the bottom. You will find a long list of options. Go through each one of them and select “enable” on each individual one. When given the choice “high”, “medium”, “low”, please select “medium”! Once this is completed, click “ok” at the bottom. Then, restart your computer and run your download program again!
Thus adjusted, the settings will enable important functionality for you, which you need when downloading files and even when logging in to the member’s area. This needs to be done only once.

6. INCOMPLETE DOWNLOADS If your file finished incomplete, this probably means that the source you have downloaded it from is now offline. Search under the name of your favorite artist and begin downloading 3-4 copies of the same song, from DIFFERENT AVAILABLE sources. Then, simply keep the FAST downloads, and kill the SLOW downloads. If any finish incomplete, just download the file again in the same fashion. Keep in mind that the fastest download speeds are in connections with T1, DSL and Cable.
If you are downloading a movie and it is a partial file, such as a trailer or short clip, follow these tips: When you search you will see different sources, availabilities and file sizes. We always recommend that you choose the largest file sizes - what this means is that the source on the other side has the COMPLETE song or movie, rather than a partial copy, trailer or a false file. Also, when downloading, you should download simultaneously from several individuals, the same exact file. This ensures me that I will download at least one copy completely.

7. SPEEDING–UP MY DOWNLOADS Search under the name of your favorite artist and begin downloading 3-4 copies of the same song, from DIFFERENT AVAILABLE sources. Then, simply keep the FAST downloads, and kill the SLOW downloads. In addition to that, you should download the files with most the fastest connections such as T1, DSL, Cable, etc and with the most sources. More tips may be contained in the program userguide, under the “main” section. Be sure to read each userguide carefully before using the programs. You may need to print it and follow it precisely.

8. BURNING CDs Various ways of burning are shown in the ”burn“ section of the member’s area. Be sure to carefully study the information contained there. The easiest way to burn music is by using Windows Media Player, so be sure to read on how to do so exactly.
Burning movies can be particularly challenging at times, due to the various formats of movies. If you should experience any difficulties, please be sure to contact us and explain your issue in detail.

9. iPOD or MP3 PLAYER UPLOADING The simple steps of this process are detailed in the iPod+iTunes section (at the top) of this website.
10. CANCEL / END MEMBERSHIP Under the terms & conditions contract accepted at the time of signup, you have the right to terminate (end) your recurring membership at any point in time. This is sometimes referred to as “cancelling”. If you joined the 1-year plan, your membership is billed only once and is never billed again, so there is no need to cancel it. If your membership is recurring, canceling means that you will not be charged again in the future and the only charge you will see on your statement will be the one charged so far. 11. LEGALITY The US high courts have ruled that Music, MP3s and file-sharing networks are legal and using them is also as long as you obey and comply with all relevant copyright laws. The installation instructions for each program will show you how to install it correctly so that the files on your computer are closed for sharing.
